Throw it in and delete the resonator too.

I'm sure it'll sound better than it already does. Our Libs don't rev too high under normal acceleration, so most exhaust systems are the perfect tone. Give it a shot.

Nope only 5500-5800 RPM

No one should rev that high under normal acceleration. Mine barely sees 3000 RPM.

I went with a flowmaster 40 with no resonator on my lib.. Sounds great! I tried the magnaflow first but the flowmaster offered a deeper tone.

Some peoples normal acceleration and others are much different
mine sees 5000 RPMs several times a week
has since it had 100 miles on her, 181,000 miles later she's still fine
3000 is hardly getting a 3.7 warmed up

Mine gets redlined about once a week, helps keep the cobwebs out.

Most of my shifts are around 3k. If you think about it, you have to be extremely light on the gas to get it to shift anywhere near 2k and it will almost never shift under 2k so that extra 1000rpm really isn't that much.

And as tommudd and Atthehelm said mine gets a high rpm shift atleast once a week. I haven't floored it in sometime(ok that's a lie, I did it twice in the past week, but before that it's been some time), but it'll get to 5k+ atleast once a week.

I agree that the transmission does not like to shift at low RPMS. I've been noticing this more lately and have trying to accelerate a little harder to provoke it to shift. I drive in a town that is terrible for maximizing fuel economy.
