I was jc if anyone had gone over 265 75 16's. I figured the only way you could is by forkin out the $$ for a 6" lift. But even still I feel like there would be some real rubbin. Has anyone hit the 33" mark which would be about 290 75 16's

Look into 235/85r16s.
They usually run around 32.4" diameter but are only 9.5" wide.

What brand are those ?
Most are in the 31.6 to 32 range

Now that he has posted a picture I see that :ROTFL:
wasn't there before :banghead:
MTRs are only 32s so was just trying to determine which ones are 32.4

My bad.
I was remembering the diameter of my 285/70 17s on my megacab diesel being almost 33s.

The 235/85-16s MTRs were right at 32(static) on the liberty steelies. They were effectively 31.5" when the weight was on them.

Ouch that's rough. I wish JBA would announce something. I could really get down with a 6" lift :D

No clue on a timeline. I wouldn't guess any time soon though. Still a possibility that it might never happen so who knows.

Think you could get away with 245/90/16's? they'd be 33.4" with a 9.6" width. I feel like the turning radius of the wheels would prevent you not only going full lock but even turning correctly lol

Ive never heard of 90 aspect ratio tires in normal light truck or passenger sizes.
Maybe the 7.50-16 size is around that 33-34 size. They probably are too big to fit and pretty spendy.

A 6 inch lift would be nice I have decide if nothing comes out bybthe time summer I'm having one fabricated. I want to maintain the front upper and lower control arms in the form of a long travel front suspension similar to a baja suspension and in the rear a long arm suspension. Teraflex sells all the suspension components which would cover the rear and the front would have to be full custom

I run a 31x11.5x15

If the front ends are the same can we just order the 6" jba for the front and then the KK 6" springs for the back then some longer bilstines or something?

I could imagine killing CVs at 6" unless you machine them or maybe drop the diff a little, or something else. Idk what the 6" KJ lift entails.
