i was just gonna replace my stock 16" tires on my 2011 liberty with Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 245/70R16 but started thinking i might just move up a lil in the wheel size too.

Im not planning a lift anytime soon, but thought maybe of going with a set of 17s, like these kmc xd rockstars

http://www.jeep4x4center.com/kmc-xd-roc ... 54535.html

and putting on the same Hankooks but in the 245/65R17 size

I guess i was wondering if anyone has opinions on fitment/rubbing/looks etc. I was also contemplating the goodyear wrangler duratracs.

worth moving up one size just because?

thanks

There is/was a set of tj rubicon moab wheels in the for sale section. If i were in the market for new wheels thats what i would get for sure.

save the rockstars for the bro trucks!

You asked for our opinion

Thats one of the fugliest wheels I've seen yet.
But, if you want to overpay for the tires that will ride more like dookie, those should attract car thieves nicely.

Sorry

I've heard good things about the Hankooks, and Duratracs. I was originally going to go with the Hankooks when I for new tires, but I now decided on Duratracs only because they look more aggressive. As for rims....Rockstars = puke to me. Some trucks can pull them off, but in my opinion they look like complete garbage on Jeeps. However, it is your Jeep and your money, if you like Rockstars then power to ya. I would also have a hard time justifying that price for those. I'm pretty sure you can find nice beadlocks for that price lol

Yea I was on the fence between both th of those tires too.

As for the wheels, I just thought they looked kinda wild, but yeah probably too wild. I think I might end up with some cragar soft 8s in chrome if I buy anything

Thanks for the opinions so far

You know what would look good on your KK?

Look up Hollander # 9057A(silver) or 9057B(gray)
Those are an OEM KJ wheel in 17x7.5.

Another good looking OEM XJ/KJ wheel is the #9049 in 16x7.

8" might work if the backspace is less than the ones I have. They rubbed on the inside, they went too far the wrong way lol.
