Did you grind out the lower portion of your pocket? I would prefer not to. any downfall to not doing this? |

Depends on how you look at it. It will keep hitting and self clearance after a while |

when will it hit? at full expansion of the strut/spring? i do not plan on doing any serious wheeling. the only thing i really do is drive on the beach and in some fields occasionally, 90-95% of my driving is street driving. I just thing cutting away at it might seem kinda ghetto rigging it. |

Popular opinion is to let them self clearance and create a natural bump stop... It at least sounds better that way |

Let the pocket self clearance. It creates a natural drop limiter that is beneficial to the life of the drive line and suspension. |

I cut the pocket down, primed and painted the cut area. My pockets would hit with just normal driving. |
