To those KK's without fog lights I was asked a curious question while talking to a few JK owners about making a bumper. We started talking about doing away with the turn signals as they sit on the KK and integrating them into the area where the fog lights would have been. Doing this would eliminate them as an issue in bumper mounting and allow for more fender cutting Has anyone every thought of this? Looking at it I think that it may only require a longer cable to be adapted along with a round light fixture This may end up being a Mod I pursue after a bit more research and if I end up taking it on I will make a write up with plenty of photos. Would anyone like to discuss/brainstorm? |

Check your state laws first. Here in WA turn signals must be placed as far to the outside of the vehicle as possible Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4 Beta |

Ok wow nice idea. I'd definitely be down to hear about this. Would you completely do away with the cap where the fog light is supposed to be? Or maybe drill out part of the cap as a place to seat a bulb? Speaking of that, has anyone even seen whats behind that cap? |

Check state laws but anymore I think all require side marker lights front and rear as well ( Federal law) BugginsKJ got around that on a KJ when he moved his turns to the fog light holes on the 07 by placing a small LED in the flare pointing out to the side |

I will for sure be checking the laws if anything I'll take my side marker wires and splice them into another amber marker for the fender well if I don't integrate the old ones. This would basically convert it's original turn signals into a Wrangler setup |

Took me forever to find this. This guy sort of did something similar to what i think you might be trying to do. I don't know what he ended up doing for turn sigs but this at least should give you an idea of what to expect removing the factory turns sigs. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=61500&start=0 |

A guy is giving me two stock wrangler bumpers to play with because he needed to get rid of them! Looks like I may have a temporary bumper solution until I get my steel |
