I thought I would bring this question here to see if anyone has experienced this. recently after my trip to sugar hill I began to notice a vibration coming from the engine compartment I cannot pinpoint the origin yet however my question is what are some things that may cause such a vibration. I feel it in the steering and In the seat and pedals. It's a constant vibration that isn't affected by rpm or rate of speed. (same intensity standing still and going 60) Could it be some dried mud on a fan or pulley knocking it out of balance? any info would be appreciated! |

Any chance there is a sound to it? Check your exhaust system to see if something has wiggled loose. |

Look on the inside of your rims. |

Rims are clean, that wouldn't effect vibrations at idle anyway I'll look at my exhaust but it's buttoned up pretty tight thanks for the suggestions |

I'm sure you've thought about this, but how are your spark plugs? |

I'd go back and check the gap since it's an easy job. |

Same vibration if you are in park and raise the RPMS? |

Only thing I've ever had knocked loose was the "boot" that on the steering column connected to the firewall. I could have sworn I was feeling a slight vibration from that. Snapped right back into place when I addressed it. |
