I'm in the process of finally getting a lift and tires. I'm really wanting to get the moab style rims but its next to impossible to find 16 5x4.5 moabs. Has anyone used the moab style rims that come one the jk's with using say a 1.25" adapter/spacer. Looking to put 265 dueler revo 2's or 245 firestone mt's on them. Anyone have any luck sticking these on there kk as I can find them cheap and allnover the place |

Only problem with that is shipping. I can find them new and in othere areas. But when I can get a set of jk for around 200-300 in my area its a lot cheaper |

Yeah the offset is what I'm worried about. I wasn't sure if anyone has done it before. I just no tires are coming soon and want to make sure I get the right rim size |

Personally I'd wait for a set of TJ Rubi rims Don't like the idea of spacers etc Heck I even bought the right wheels for my trailer so I could run 265-70-16s instead of running spacers |

Drives like a dream, but trimming is required. Not much trimming but they makes your Jeep look bad booty. |

Do this. You will not regret it. The whole idea of spacers is intimidating, and at first I was against the idea. But Spydertrax is in the off road business, and they know what they are doing. I use my Jeep like a Jeep should be used, and here in Colorado we wheel hard. I bang and bash my Jeep around with Jk's on the trail and my set up has never let me down. Do it. |

Are they the knockoffs or the real Mopar Moabs Have to watch as there is a difference in how they are made True Moabs are a lot stronger |

Good thing I have a back up plan. |

Have not re-geared yet. I really want to go with a 4.10, and will eventually. However time is not on my side now. I also have the 6 speed manual and the power band is in my favor because of this. Believe it or not, but I still get 350 miles to a tank with the 32's. I notice a difference absolutlely, but its very minor. 6th gear is basically useless unless you are cruising down hill or flat highway. My ultimate goal with the KK is to do a SAS. One day I spent time under the thing and came to the conclusion that not only is it doable, but will be fairly easy. |
