My 09 KK had window tinting put on the rear windows but its not very dark at all. I'd like to have it darker.

Has anyone used the DIY window tint kits? What was your experience? I would rather pay 30 bucks than 200 but I know sometimes you get what you pay for.

I'd probably pay to have it done by a pro.
It would suck to have your diy job bubble up on you, then pay again to have it done by a shop.
Plus wouldn't quality tint film run more than $30?

That's a good point that I didn't think of. The quality of the tint might turn it purple...
I'll probably just get it professionally done just wanted to see if anyone has done this themselves.

Always go with the good stuff. The cheap stuff is dyed and fades to purple. The good stuff like solarguard is polarized with metalized aluminum. My good friend has been tinting for twenty years and makes it look easy. I tried my hand at it after watching him. Didn't work out so well. Well worth $200+ to get it done right and quick.
