Did you install aftermarket security system or the OEM system?
It shouldn't goes off if you are using OEM system and manual unloack the door.
I just test it myself.
May be you need to go to the dealership.

Does this happen with every Liberty? When I lock the door with the key remote and the alarm is activated, it goes off when I manually unlock the door with the key and open it. How do I fix this so it doesn't hapen, but keep the alarm activated when the door is locked? In other words, is there a way to disarm the alarm by sticking the key in the lock, or can it only be disarmed by using the remote? |

Try roll down the window and pull the lock up then open the door from the outside... |

Mine does the same. Lock with the remote, unlock with the key and the alarm sounds. I'm happy to leave it that way. |

Same here. If you lock it using the door controls it doesn't go off though. |

Normal operation and no way to chnage it.Unlock using the FOB to disarm the alarm. |
