I just wanted to see if anyone else with the alpine system from the factory has rattles from the interior door panels? I don't even have it full cranked up but u do like my music loud so maybe insulation would fix it ?

My passenger side rattles even with the radio off. Eventually I'll tear into the door to replace the speakers and add Dynomat.

Mine has the Infinity system and with some bassy music the doors vibrate. It drives me mad, the sound system is one of the better factory ones I've heard and when you crank it you hear the vibrations clearly.
I had the dealer look at it and they did bugger all to fix it. I'll pull the trims off soon and put a layer of thin spongy foam between them and the door to see if that helps. I suspect it is the plastic trim vibrating against the door.

Yeah, Infinity. And I think it sounds great except for the rattle, which like I said, is there even without music on. It's gotta be a simple fix if you can figure out what is vibrating.

I had this issue when I upgraded to Polk audio speakers. I bought some thin dynamat alternative from a local audio shop and cut it into thin strips to run along the edge of each door panel. Only problem is the heat from sitting in the sun caused the material to stick the door panel to the door so to remove it I needed to take a razor blade and run it along the edge to break the seal. Works like a champ

Yeah I have some bad rattle with mine at full volume. I upgrade all of the speakers, doors and dash, doors with an amp running nearly 100watts per speaker. I have rattle and the best thing to do is just turn it up a little more. lol. The Liberty is actually way more insulated than the FJ Cruiser I had a few years ago.
