Post subject:  Adding Clevis Spacers, ...what sizes?

The lift I installed has settled approx 1/2", so I would like to add a few spacers underneath the clevis in order to bring it back perfectly level again. After reading the post in the Tech Section I purchased a few 2" locknuts (each are 3/16" thick) to accomplish this, but when I came home and measured the inside diameter of the locknuts, they are actually closer to 2-1/4" inside diameter!?

The sealed plastic packaging says 2", and there is a #2 forged into each ring. Do I have the right size?

...My "master" plan is to add (x2) on the front passenger side, and (x3) on the front drivers side. The extra one is to compensate slightly for the "KK lean".

If anybody has experience doing this, can you advise? Thanks.

Conduit nuts are 1/8 inch thick so adding 3 is 3/8 of an inch which will give you 3/4 of an inch more lift
So you don't have any in there now am I correct ?
Diameter doesn't mean much since they hold noting at all and basically are there just to make sure of the amount you are lifting it up out of the clevis
Little trick for ya, wrap each group with a couple of rounds of electrical tape, keep them together while installing etc

The size is nominal for 2" conduit, which isn't exactly 2". You got the right ones.

I do have one of the black rings on each side, came with TM/JBA budget package. Not totally sure how thick they are. I think there was three choices, and I used the one in the middle, .375? With the front having "settled" almost exactly that much, I kinda thought if I put two in each side, it would bring the front end back to level. I still am debating if i could do the extra one on the drivers side. :?:

IF you already have the middle size in then you can't add what you are wanting to
It will pull the shock too far up out of the clevis

Besides the spacers, is the another option? Or do you think just adding one per side would not be too much? ...seems like too much work at that point though.
