I've had a lot of squeaking coming from the rear suspension so I took my Liberty to the dealership today to get it checked out. I assumed it was the bushings, but it wasn't. They said the squeaking was coming from debris (dirt and gravel) getting stuck in the spacers. I have the Daystar 2" lift. Has anyone else had this issue? Dealer said they could clean it out for me but they would charge 1-2 hours of labor and this would probably be a recurring thing. Anyone have any tips for fixing/preventing this? |

When i had the daystar lift i filled the hollow spacers with round pieces of plywood then siliconed everything. I did this for the reason you mention above and because the factory bumpstops slide inside them upon compression thus over compressing the springs when flexed out. Daystar really shouldn't have made those hollow. |

One of the reasons you give your Jeep a good wash every week at least. Stick a high pressure hose down in there will blow the junk out. Simple long term solution is to get lift springs |
