Same thing here, i think its coming from the seat belt mechanism near the console . I'm removing my seats soon to clean/lubricate . |

My passenger seat is squeaky and has been since I got the KK year and a half ago. Not too sure where it's from... tried to lubricate some stuff, apparently not what was squeaky. |

Back in 08-09 there were several members here with loose seat mounting bolts. Maybe something to check. |

You guys can remove your seats if you want but, if i remember right, all you should need is a quick shot of WD-40 on the bolt or pin holding the buckle receiver to its mounting bracket. The squeak used to drive me nuts but after a little wd-40, I havent had an issue since. Im assuming this is what you are hearing because it has been a common issue. If you need to determine this is whats making the squeaking noise, simply grab the seat buckle receiver while driving and see if the squeaking continues. Hope this helps! |

Yea mine does the same thing on the driver side but it's only while you sit In a certain spot for the buckle mount to squeak so I am going to try and just spray some lube down there. |

Try using some grease. Read the TSB on the passenger seat squeak. Maybe the same fix. Dave |

just found yesterday that the drivers seat does not have a plastic protector like the passengers on the seatbelts buckle where it concts to the seat, and this may be the reason, i am taking some pics tonight and and work it out....... is funny that my lift is silent buy my seat is squeaky... |

I didn't want to get any lubricant on the carpet so i pulled the seat. All there really is that can squeek is this bolt. ![]() I used some motorcycle chain lube left over from my dirtbike days. Its designed to stay tacky and not fling off chains so hopefully it works well and doesn't drip down on the carpet.

Took mine in years ago. A little squirt of litium greese fixed it. So, every time it starts making noices, I give it a spary. Problem solved. And another poster is right. There IS a TSB on this. |
