Post subject:  radio install question

so I'm about to order a new double din radio to replace my factory one. Do I need to order a harness with it or anything or will it just screw in to the factory spots some how? I was gonna order a Pioneer FH-X700BT

*edit*

I may have solved my own issue. I just found this thread on jeeps. I'll post the link in case anyone else has the same question

although, do i need a wiring harness connector? or can i just cut the factory wires and attach them to the new radio? like this? http://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Harness-Liberty-wiring-installation/dp/B006C4CYO8

To keep the steering wheel controls I believe you'll still need something like this:
