It appears that all the Arctic headlights came with fog lights, correct? And I'm assuming they'd be plug and play for me since I have the factory fogs on my Sport, alleviating the need to visit my dealer. I'm too anal about my vehicle to bake the headlights and paint them. I've baked open headlights before and had minor moisture issues to deal with. I'd rather buy a Jeep part and swap them in versus tearing apart my factory lights. |

They're black like the Renegade and Jet headlights. As long as you have fogs, you should be good with grabbing Renegade, Jet, or Arctic headlights. Keep us posted. |

Yeah I referenced the Arctics as an example. It seems like the Jets, Renegades and Arctics all came with fog lights. So I shouldn't have to worry about ordering a set that doesn't come with fogs. |

I would be curious to see what kind of price you can find for those headlights. In my experience replacement headlight enclosures are usually a few hundred bucks. My recommendation would be to check out this thread: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=55424 You can pop the lenses off and paint that chrome housing over the course of a few hours, we've had a lot of success with this method on the boards, so I figured I would give you a heads up on a much cheaper alternative! |

I got mine from an online junkyard dealer. I'll have to see if I can remember the company. 100 for the pair. Beat paying 300 plus from any other source I found, and they were in flawless condition. |

I did a quick look online and saw them for like $115 per headlight for brand new OEM lights. I could check local parts places, too. |

Found you a single used one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-2011-Jeep-Liberty-Passenger-Side-Headlight-Tinted-/380558779903?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AJeep%7CModel%3ALiberty%7CYear%3A2008&hash=item589b1225ff&vxp=mtr I swapped my stock non-fog light headlight housings out for a set of the Jet edition housings. - Housing swap takes about 20 minutes. Just pop the grill off, remove the 6 T10 Torx screws holding the housing to the car, twist out the bulbs, and swap in the new housings. (Plus no fiddling with ovens and paint) Results below: ![]() If your KK came stock without fogs (like mine did) and you wish to install the factor fogs you need to purchase the Mopar fog light kit, which involves disassembling parts of your fuse box and splicing new wires in. (Its not easy and requires surgeon hands. I gave up after 2 hours of fiddling ) Then once they're installed you need to run to a local Chrysler or Jeep dealer and pay them to flash your KK's computer to update the new fog lights in order for them to work. There's good news though. If your handy with DC current you can just install the new headlight housings and slap 2 fog lights that fit and wire them up to the headlights and run a toggle switch between the headlights and the fog lights. You can grab toggle switches from Radio shack for like $1 or if you want something nicer.... http://www.otrattw.com/proddetail.php?prod=VVPZC4S-17V I just swapped in a set of HID headlights and HID fogs up to a toggle switch just like that Otrattw one.

Looks good, Mawlkrawler! To the OP: If DIY-ing the wiring, here is a wiring diagram to go by. Be sure and use a relay or an overtaxed switch could start a fire in your Jeep. http://www.accessconnect.com/fog_driving_lights_wiring.htm |

Luckily I have the stock fogs already, so I don't have to worry about tinkering with those. But thank you for the tips anyway. |

That's why my kit above comes with more details & pictures about the interworking of the connector itself. Turning on the fogs at the dealership is around $50 but ties your vin with the sales code for fog lights. Hey adds resale value to your Jeep.
