Hey folks..this is my first KK (2012). Bought it new back in Oct 2012. Keeping it with the stock suspension for now. Just added the tow hook to the front, tow package to the rear with a controller in the cab. Weather Tech mats were a must. Roof rack for surf board, skis and whatever else. She handles great on the beach and tows my full dressed Harley no problem. Was great in the snow the last two years, when everyone else was stuck I would cruise through with no problems. My dogs have plenty of room and she rides nice on those longs trips I take to Florida, albeit the gas mileage stinks..But I didn't buy it gas economy...lol :D

Only problem I noticed on our beaches is she tends to drag a little when caught in some of the ruts. Noting serious, nothing damaging. With my lift she crawls all over and doesn't drag on anything.

Oh btw check out the Northeast section. A lot of Long Island guys. We hang out every so often too.

Mines Deep Cherry Red as well...I spend a lot of time at Smith Point..been driving on the beach for years so I don't even notice the ruts...lol But I agree they can be seriously deep and when that happens I just stay out of them..images/smilies/grim.gif

I live in Stony Brook but I work at Brookhaven Lab which is just up the William Floyd Parkway which goes right down to the beach.

I go to school at Stony Brook. It's a ride from Lindenhurst lol. Darksport, where are you from? It's nice to get new Long Island members. Maybe it'll bring some spark back to the NE sections lol

I'm out in Farmingville, also go by Garnet02Sport over on JF. :wink: I grew up in Lindenhurst and my Dad still lives there.
