Bmxer posed an interesting question in another thread (which I'm not 100% of the answer either). What would happen if you combined a spacer lift (like a RK lift) with a OME lift? I'd imagine you'd run into issues, especially in the front end. Sent from my iPhone 5 |

TOO much lift, been tried before by some who " wanted " to show others it would work , BUT doesn't. If you want more lift then do it right and not mix junk parts in with good springs etc. |

That would be around 5in of lift right? I think the max before issues is 4? Sent from my LG-D801 using Tapatalk |

Yes depending on springs etc it would be in the 5 inch range. NOW of course the Frankenlifts use a similar setup, but they have specially made ( just for them ) spacers/top plate etc so you end up at 3.75-4 inches. |

I was gonna say in the other topic, but like Tom said stay away. Too much lift. Max is around 4". The extras I was mentioning was a Clevis lift and/or 1/4" top plate. Gets a little more than an inch. Oh also forgot to mention, my a-arms hit my springs at 3.5" of lift. I can't imagine more without going to a smaller coil. Then that would probably involve a custom coilover or the jba coilover system. |

Ya I had planned on doing a clevis lift etc. Do you have jba a-arms and your springs still contact??? Sent from my iPhone 5 |

Yes most will hit at about 3.5-3.75 even with JBA UCAs with OME and ironman springs well any for that matter. What some don't think about is everytime that the coil and UCA makes contact there is pressure on both to a degree. The JBA coilover does take that problem out of course but we're still limited then to about 4 inches due to CVs etc . |

I might gain a bit of clearance by clocking the springs, but not too sure. I have to go outside and look at it. |

Hope someone straightened them out would of liked to have heard the argument that RROs are better ![]() Tried too, then everyone wanted proof after u said a friend tried then and they didn't even fit. Now they want exact specs of the RRO's so I've been waiting on my friend to get me his set he has in his shed so I can give the specs to them. I have a feeling it still wouldn't matter if you showed them a pic proving they where just made out if red rope licorice and plastic they'd still support it and say they are better.
