Instead of doing a Clevis spacer stacking conduit nuts, i am going to just get some steel tubing and machine it to fit on my lathe.

I can find the measurement of the conduit nuts, but am unsure if thats a good fit, or a bit loose.

Does anyone know the outter dimension on the strut?

Basically, I'm hoping i dont have to take a side apart, get the measurment, put it back together to get the steel and then tear it down again.

Thanks.

2.125". But honestly its just a measurement device. I just set the space with a socket extension, torque to spec, then pull out the extension.

Yep like Ricky Rocket stated you don't need anything, I use them simply to make sure that both sides are the exact same, plus I usually have a newbie helping so that way we are both on the same page
