I just drove from chicago to NC and back. Some times it was really slow to respond. I had pedal to floor and it was a few seconds before it would go. 08 kk.mainly on inclines. Any ideas or is this just normal

Normal. It's a frustration we all deal with. I've got the Hypertech programmer on mine so it responds better than stock.

The Hypertech does make a noticeable difference. The KK is also terrible on inclines. I guess it's just the struggle of our 4 speed.

I recalibrate my throttle response every 2-3 months.

Insert ignition key and turn to "ON" (not start).
Wait for all idiot lights to go out. Check Engine Light may remain on.
Slowly depress the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor.
Slowly release the accelerator pedal until it's all the way back up.
Turn the ignition key to "OFF".
Start the engine.
Seems to work well for me.

There was a software update when I was at the dealership a few weeks ago. totally changed the peddle feel and response. A few other things were changed too but I don't remember all the details.
