I was actually looking at what it would take to do this today. Doesn't look too difficult, except for building four separate jigs for them. |

Didnt want to let the cat out of the bag just yet...but.....I have some tube doors made up already. Using a latch that works perfectly. Im holding off on pics to get them sandblasted and painted. Alot of the Lonestar Lost guys wants me to sell them. Im not sure but I can say last week I have gotten more stares and waves then ever. Still trying to bend the pipe to make them all even from front to back doors. Becuase the door hinges are not level front to back, unlike the TJ, XJ, ect. Front doors look awesome! But the flow of the rear doors kinda have me bummed out. Im using TJ mirrors and high quality latches. Sorry for hijacking But IMHO on the KJ cut down factory doors to half doors look the best. Still keeps the body lines, door speakers, and factory latches. Sent with the power of children's screams!!! |

I plan on finding out which wires go to the speakers and make something I can plug into for water proof speakers on the doors |

And can't wait to see the mirrors I'm gonna is are Tj ones also we used them on te wk doors and also can't wait to see them and message me I drew up doors for the rear I can share with ya maybe they will work with your fronts |

Yes I have a set made up (well drive front and rear). I dont like my current design. I am working on a new design hoping to incorporate door speaker and have it flow nicely front to rear and keeping the door sides low. Its a work in progress, between building bumpers, skids, and rock rails my welder is getting a workout. I have a few other priorities that come before the doors, but they are being worked on. Its a slow tedious process getting all the bends right and equal. I will post pics once I like the design becuase I know others will take the design and build their own, which is what Jeepin is all about. I hate the doors right now, they just dont flow together.....plus KISS is my motto but its not so simple. TLDR: yes I have some made up Sent with the power of children's screams!!! |
