I really want some sort of recovery option for the back of my jeep. I don't have a hitch and don't really have the need for one, so I don't want to interfere with the already limited departure angle that I have. I can find the Mopar ones for way overpriced. Then I ran into these. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/rugged-rid ... black.html
It says it fits all Jeeps. Is this true It seems like a good deal if I can get it to fit. Will I have to drill somewhere to make it fit or will it actually fit like i am expecting?

Does not fit all Jeeps , sorry, best bet is for a hitch or the right tow hook for the rear of your KK

Adam,

Your best bet is to go on ebay and buy a rear tow hook from a KK/KJ they bolt up easily and are far more secure than that link. I doubt that tow hook you posted would even work. I bought my rear tow hook off ebay for $36 bucks.

Ok, $36 is not bad at all. I'm trying to avoid a hitch mainly because all that I would use it for is a hook anyway. I want to save the money and keep the simplicity by just finding a tow hook. Thanks guys.

I did a quick check on eBay and this is the cheapest one I found.
If your patient you can find one cheaper http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav= ... 40&alt=web

I was looking and saw the same thing. I know there are guys out there replacing their OEM tow hooks with hitches so I'll be patient and hopefully get lucky. I'm not in any rush.

Put a hitch on and have the tow hook sitting in my garage. It's been looking for a good home. Make an offer.
