Ive seen many times that 245/70/16 seems to be the max stock tire...

My question is with a 2" lift could my kk fit 255/75/17 with no issues.

Reason being is i have a really good local offer for a set of 5 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires w/ 17" rims for $550.

Also, Im pretty sure i'd need a 5x5 to 5x4.5 adapter...the wheels are coming off of a 2012 Wrangler.

aaaaaaaand go...

Pretty much 32s. You need a lot more lift, more like 4+". Also need to regear, preferably to 4.56s. And yes, if you keep the rims you'll need adapters as we have 5x4.5, JKs use 5x5.

guess that solves that...a little too much work for not that much benefit...what size tire can go on with a 2" lift and no need to regear?

I've seen 32s with two inches of lift, sorry I like some room in the fenderwells for rocks and mud
PLUS you need to regear to properly run that size
