Tom come on don't be an old crusty Richard. You know that all companies big or small could use a gift like this as a tax right off, or put it under "advertising". Yes people would rather spend less money on things, that's normal. If there were more KK's driving out on the trails more people would buy stuff, prices go down, more companies build things, and more people make money. Supply and demand has to start somewhere, right?

I'm not saying that the company that decides to participate in a contest would make a ton of money from it, it would just be fun.

I've read some of your posts, some helpful and some you just sound like an old man off of the movie Grumpy Old Men. Chill out.

And I'm sorry maybe I missed it, do you own a KK?

Well this was posted on the KK side but if it takes a contest with both them I'm in. The cost of the lifts are completely different and I wouldn't want that to sway
The companies on who was allow in and who won.

I like the raffle idea.

when companies make products for jk, tj, zj, they can sell 1000's of parts and cost of manufacture and advertise come at a a lower reate if you just sale a few parts.
you can run 33" tires on a kk........... how many you see???
you can build full locked kk's.............. how many you see?????
you can build a 4" lift kk with cutom 4 link rear end......... how many you see????

you can do a lot on a kk jut need time and $$$ just like any other jeep but is there in no demand for it why to bother and that is why companies don't put money and time on the kk.

this may sound cruel but the people that have a kk including myself got a kk because a jk waas out of our league at almost double the price.
most people that lift a kk just want to play the go big or go home and probably will never touch a piece of dirt trail on the usefull time of a kk

trust me that a kk with 31" two lockers and a 3" lift can take you to places other don't......

and i said it a 100%
people don't regear. first mistake
lift and don't extend links and bars to keep the geometry and have a useful flex
an open differential is as good as nothing of road,,, how many do lock their kks?????????

see guys: a lot of stuff that is not done yet, before starting knocking the doors of the big aftermarket companies

I'm sick and tired of seeing TJ, JK, and XJ and so on get a chance to win lifts! What about us KK guys! Come on someone step up and do a give away. If there were more out there to see then more KK's would be lifted! This goes for all other parts too, bumpers, roof racks, lights. lockers..... We could enter with a pic of our KK and a story of how we would use it, the company picks ten to be voted on by us, the LOST group! Come on who thinks this is a great idea?

OK seriously now............. Lots of difference between suppliers for TJs/ JKs etc and your KK Where they sell thousands, suppliers for KKs sell a few , profit margin is very low, thats why the big companies do not make anything for the KJs and KKs One reason you don't see more lifted is because most KJ and KK owners don't want to spend 800-900 for a lift, they are wanting to spend 200 bucks is all Its not that they don't know about lifts or need more pictures

No Realist is what I am I know first hand the profit margins etc those who supply lifts make and also have been on here and other forums for ten years watching / reading / listening / and installing a bunch of lifts

Seen a lot of how companies and other Jeep owners view the Libertys etc. Chill out and enjoy working on your KK and taking it out no matter if its just back roads or hard core trails

We do not do that, if a post gets way off line we may lock it or delete it but never does any Mod or Administrator go in and change words on anyones posts.
