Made a thread to ensure I captured as much as attention as possible since it really hasn't been talked about or discussed.

I'm OCD, and my engine bay is filthy..can't stand it, it's driving me crazy. Does any recommend an Engine Bay degreaser that hopefully doesn't require me having to tape off or bag all electrical components? (Not enough patience for that) I don't care about price either, open to anything.

Thanks.

I wanted to clean my engine also with degreaser and was talking with my dad about it and he said he once used degreaser and all the gaskets in his engine started to leak. Granted he did this years ago when he was in his 20s.

I'd be curious as to what others suggest. For now I've just been using rags and paper towels along with water or interior spray (that you use for dashboards, etc.).
Every KK owner knows our engine bay gets so dirty and dust, if you don't know, better open up your hood and see for yourself!

Simple Green works well , have used it on several different engines over the years with no issues. Have always hosed my engines off and kept them clean

I'll try it out. Do you bag up all of your electrical components when hosing it off or no?

No never bag anything, there are areas that I don't spray directly with the pressure washer but other than that just go for it
