I have a 2010 Jeep Liberty that all of the sudden will not allow either Heat or AC to change from the defrost direction for air flow. The temperature and fan speed work, but when I change the direction from to the face or feet nothing happens so I don't know if that means the Heat/AC controller is working or not.

I have tried to use my google fu and all I come up with is the vacuum lines or valve might be bad or cracked. However on the KJ models that is behind the glove compartment. On the KK model I have no idea. I have also heard maybe the Mode Door Actuator. The problem is I have no idea where any of these are or how to check them. Any help would be great. Pictures of what to check would be even awesomer.

So last thing is now it is getting cold up here in Wisconsin so warming the feet is now becoming a priority.

Thanks
B

Vacuum lines are old school but reliable. The mode door is now electronically controlled with a actuator.
