after cleaning my engine bay out last night after countless off road trips, I did some basic system checking. I only found one issue which was the very front ignition coil plug was pretty loose. the rear 2 did not come out but did move; nor did I try to yank them out. not sure if the front coil plug would cause a failure down the road, but if its a small issue id probably get it fixed asap.

engines are not my forte! cabin electronics are and so is detailing.

I did stumble across this post:

Were you trying to pull them off? Because at the base of the bolt is a gasket-y thing that causes it to remain in there unless you actually pull it out.

OK, based on the picture, you have the newer three coil system. The left side is where the plug wire runs to the other cylinder on the far bank. There are a few reasons why that could be loose. The most obvious one would be a broken post on the coil. More common is a damaged wire. Thing is, if you aren't getting a miss fire, I wouldn't worry about it. If you off road a lot and get crud under there, it would be wise to put a dab of die electric grease inside the wire boots and then seat them. This will help to keep moisture out.

So, inspect the coils terminals and the condition of the wire itself. Add the grease, and just leave it be unless you are getting a miss.
