So I have had my truck in the garage, going to take the plunge and do the rear of the lift my self. OME rear springs and Ironman shocks as well as rear spring Isos. Questions:

1. Will I need spring compressors? or can I get away not using them for the rear

2. Where do I put the jack stands so I can have my rear drop to take out and put in springs.

3. Can I drive it to a shop down the street once complete to have the front done by my mechanic?

4. Lastly, What is the time frame to do this?

You guys have all been fantastic answering my questions and I am finally going to make this happen!!

No need for the spring compressor for the rears, I put in the 4" springs without it. May want to disconnect sway bar though (I found it easier to unbolt from the axle than to fidget with the unibody bolts). Don't forget bumpstops though. A single hockey puck per side should be sufficient, two would be better to play it safe. Drill holes through the center of the pucks and spring perch and run a bolt through it.

Jack up at pumpkin and put the jack stands on the frame rails just in front of the control arm for the axle. This'll give you the clearance to remove the sway bar.

Once everything is buttoned up, you can definitely drive with the rear lifted haha. Be VERY specific with your mechanic as to how you want the front done. Some just install parts and leave the spacers out (assuming your installing spacers in front).

The rear can be done in an hour if you're familiar with it. 2 hours if you're not.

What he said
Easy to do, If you're installing hockey pucks for bumpstops takes about 30 minutes to do both sides
If not then you should be but only takes 15-20

I think it took me 10 or 15min to do my rear(I didn't install extended bumpstops). I also had my Jeep up on a lift. It was the last part and by far the easiest.
