Good luck fitting 12" wide wheels under a KK. With a lot of backspacing and no turning ability I suppose you COULD...but shouldn't. We don't have any tire sizes available that can fit on a 12" rim either... May I inquire what you're trying to do with the Jeep? |

Get a deep dish without the wide rim then. The tire widths that you mentioned are skinnier than the 12" rim, meaning that you have to stretch the tire... It's all about the backspacing that gives the look. |

265s are going to be as wide as you can go. You'll rub and rip off body parts or cut your tires with anything bigger. with 265s you'll want a 7"-8" rim. Don't ever get rims wider than the tires that will be going on it. For many reasons... The 4" lift is very easy to install. Simple tools and a driveway. |

NO ONE runs that size unless you are up in the Arctic and need the flotation Then on a KK you'd need 12-14 inches of lift, solid front axle and tons of cash to make it work Deep dish wheels only cause more rubbing and issues Lifted 3-3.5 inches a 7 inch wide wheel and 4 inch backspacing is best stick with a 30 inch tall tire ( 245-75-16 ) any taller and you will need to regear to lower gears |

I was looking at like 275-285 You will need to run at least 14" wide tires. Most common width would be 14.5" or metric would be 355mm or wider which there is no such tire made. 12" wide rims are for 40"+ tires that come in wide widths like 14.50's,16.50's,and 18.50's.Also for drag tires and for rear apps only. Oh and to give you a clue to fit 16x10 rims(4.5" of BS) I needed 9" of lift, and that's with 315/75R16 tires(street use only). |

As for the 4.7 liter throttle body would any of u have and suggestions on that No one was suggesting you go smaller any where in the answers Current tires on yours are 29 inches tall same as the 235-70-16s etc that came stock on them. You just have an 18 inch wheel on yours. What everyone was saying that the wheels you are wanting to run are too wide and very impractical ( as it they would rub driving straight almost! I think you are confused on sizes etc If going to the 4 inch lift then a 16 inch wheel/ 7 inches wide/ 4 inches of backspacing would allow you to run a say 265-75-16 ( BUT ALSO if you regeared to at least 4.10s) An alternative would be 265-70-16s or 245-75-16s on same wheels above they would be both be in the 30 inches tall range and not affect the mileage and power quite as much If trying to stay with the 18 inch wheel then 265-60-18s would work |

I did 3.5" lift, and have the LTD 18" rims - wrapped with BFG AT 265/65/R18's. I've added a fair bit of weight onto the front axle with the winch, RL bumper, lights, a few skid plates, grill guard.... Needless to say, I flattened the pinch weld. Didn't have a lot of rubbing issues though, until I added the 1.5" wheel spacers. I'm not sure what the math is to figure out the exact number on all of that, but I can't imagine anybody driving with anything bigger than the grips that I have on! I intended on getting a re-gear and lockers last summer, (one year post-lift) - but ended up giving the money to a lawyer.

There is no tire out there that you can run on a KK or KJ with IFS that needs a 10 inch wide wheel, none.. |

My background and my 32s know different Mounting a 8.5 inch tread width tire on a 10 inch wide rim is spreading the beads out too far Problems will arise when the tire has air pressure lowered to run off road or when a possible loss of air occurs from a nail etc. Then with that wide of a wheel the bead comes off and you lose control Just because little Honda toy cars do it, its not safe or needed by any means |

So still doesn't matter still too wide for normal use, years in the tire business and dealing with selling tires and wheels Have you ever seen a vehicle with too wide of wheels pop a bead while making a turn? Seen it happen before not a good picture at all, tire company down the street from mine was sued big time for that one. I still when giving advice give what is safe for the consumer . I've lost sales before because people wanted to install parts/ tires etc that would not be safe. Like too wide of wheels if someone got hurt even giving advice on here I would feel bad for them and responsible. Do people still do it, sure but I know I gave out good advice at the end of the day period |

But what I don't understand is if my 11.5 wide tire is wider then my 10 wide rim how's it not safe Ik everyone runs 10 wide wheels for 12 wide tires it's only half a inch |
