Has anyone purchased and installed the cruise control kit that just for jeeps sells? I just ordered the kit and was wondering if anything extra is needed to make it work so I know ahead of time what I'm getting into thanks

I should mention that this is going on a 2010 liberty sport all stock except for a hypertech tune installed

Check your wiring you may just need to get the switch and cut out the hole for the steering wheel. My 08 was pre-wired, I thin you can get just the switch from Rockauto or get kit from Rosrta on Amazon.

It was very easy and awesome to have.

I ordered the kit before I posted my question but the kit comes with a new steering wheel which I'm happy about anyhow because I bought my liberty used and the po had cigarette burns all over the steering wheel but that write up link that was posted makes me feel much better about installing it. I'm more used to low tech carburetor stuff so this is new to me.
I think I'm gonna really like the cc though as I drive 80 miles a day to work and back plus we are always going to parks and doing stuff on weekends so the gas it saves and comfort added makes it worth it along with replacing the nasty steering wheel in it now lol
Thanks guys

Toy, any chance you could re-link the photos in that thread? It is referenced in the How-To Index because it is such a useful writeup. Thanks!

Opps sorry about that guys, I must have renamed the album after completing the how to and it messed up the links. All fixed now.
