Does anyone know the correct size for the upper ball joint nut? Thread pitch, grade of the metal, etc? And where could I order them from?

Thank you. I found some online and placed my order. I'm using some generic ones from Napa right now as the original ones were damaged during removal. (The threads were so rusted that they were a real PITA to get off.

I assume that when the new nuts come in and I replace them that I won't need another alignment?

Since you will not be taking the knuckle off to replace the nut, your alignment should not change.

Perfect. Thank you! I just got the alignment this morning so I'd hate to get another.

Your welcome, but I think you will still need another alignment when you have that bottom isolator put in the front assembly like it should be.

I just noticed that on another OME setup, they have isolators on the lower part of the strut. The shop didn't put one in the lower area of mine. Is that going to pose an issue?

Yeah that's a bummer. Pretty frustrating it wasn't done right the first time. That's going to be a lot of down time with tearing it apart, driving the half hour to the shop that did it the first time, have it all reassembled and then put the Jeep back together. Plus another alignment.
