Have a bunch of electrical problems with the car and the mechanic said I should take the car back to the dealer and have it reprogrammed. Anyone know how much the dealer charges for it and how long I will be with out my jeep? |

Not sure reprogramming would fix anything. If your programming needs to be updated, should take no longer than 15 minutes. |

Had the throttle body replaced cause it went bad so i had it replaced by my old mechanic. Several issues surfaced and told my mechanic, one of his employees said im having issues cause it needs to be reprogrammed. After arguing with the mechanic about the issues went to another who said if you replace the throttle body the computer needs to be reprogrammed. |

If you haven't yet, pull the battery for 10min then reconnect and see what happens. I know there is a "throttle body learn" routine on the scan tool, but I don't think you really need to use it if you pull the battery. I swapped in a 4.7L TB and had no issues. |

Yep same here 4.7 TB installed, no CEL, no programming. If your replacement TB was used then it may be bad, or it is the wrong TB. Neg(-) battery disconnect, 10 minutes, then see what happens. |

Haha, check my signature... If I were pwd, id buy a 4.7l Tb. Literally P "n" P. Pull the battery, and leave it disconnected all night long with any accessory turned on. Remove the ECU wire harness (4 plugs) make sure all plugs and prongs are in proper condition with no rust or dirt on them, if so clean em off. |
