alright so coming from a jeep cherokee xj, i know somewhat of suspension setups and their differences. my question is simply this. what sets the liberty kk aside from other ifs systems. are they any different? because a majority of my friends who have vehicles with ifs seem to have lots of easier time lifting. i don't know much about ifs other then the basics but just wanted to know if the set up for the kk was unique which helped add to the cost and whatnot of products for the kk. thanks for any and all input.

Nothing at all hard about lifting a KJ or KK ( same setup basically on both )
Not sure on why you think its difficult
One of the simplest easiest ones to do lifts on IMO
Now if comparing say Toyota, it is not harder or easier but there are more lifts available simply because more folks buy them and mod them.
Not that large of a percentage do Libertys. So prices remain higher ( or at least some think they are higher) since few manufacturers make lifts for us
I mean we have OME, Ironman and then the adjustable coilover's from http://www.JeepinByAl.com/
I have stood talking to owners of other lift kit manufactures in their shops, and asked them why they didn't provide kits for the Libertys.
Their response was " Its not worth developing a product for such a small market, we can build for a Tacoma or JK and sell thousands and thousands instead of hundreds per year"
But if you compare apples to apples, say for a OME full spring kit, they are no higher for a KK/KJ than any other vehicle
So whats the problem ??? If you lift using what is available its not that expensive at all and super easy to do
Of course we don't include spacer style lifts since they are crap on any vehicle

There Rev. Mudds Sunday sermon is done
