Will the skid row kj trans skid fit the kk?

Long story short, I bent my second trans skid while coming up the steps at Marblehead on Drummond island. I'm looking for something beefier that won't bend into the exhaust when it gets hit. I think the OEM skid is the same so I figure it should fit. Plan b is welding on some plate to the OEM skid. Has anyone here either installed a different skid or fabbed their own?

The biggest reason I went with MOPAR is because it was $50 compared to the $400 for the engine/transmission skid from Skid Row. Looking at the pics, they have the same crossmembers as us so it should fit. But I think it would be cheaper to just buy 1/4" plate and weld it to the bottom...

You'd also have to buy their front skid to protect your axle. That's a $600 investment now...

It looked like it would fit with the mopar front plate. My only concern with plate is the smoothness, the other skids tuck above the engine skid to avoid getting hung up on the edge. I guess it can get the edges beveled to make it more rampy.
