Selling the liberty and getting an SRT8. Selling off all my parts. I returned my liberty's tune back to stock and listed the hypertech on Craig's list. A guy came along in a dodge 1500. Wanted to make sure it worked before he just drove off. It kept saying not for this vehicle on the programmer even though I set it back to factory settings. So I did it again in front of him. Same thing. Shouldn't it automatically wipe my VIN or was his truck just not pairing with it? |

You need to load the right cal file for the truck/engine from a computer. If he has the 3.7L, it should work. Any other engine and it will need to be updated. |
