I am purchasing this lift in about a week or two. I was wondering which Clovis spacers will give me a nice even ride height front and back. And how many of what size I will need for the job.

Clevis height depends on which Tommudd kit you get. OME and Ironman both require different sizes for 3.5". You'll also never sit level with the 3.5" Tommudd kit. This is because you get 4" JBA rear springs (so you sit about 4-4.5" above stock) and 3.5" in front. It'll keep the factory rake.

If you want to sit level, you're gonna need the "old school" 3.5" econo lift that was built with OME springs. That's what I originally ran. Basically you need OME springs (927 front, 731 rear), choice of shocks (front and rear), 1/4" top plate in front, 3/8" clevis lift, JBA a-arms, 4 rear upper spring isolators (you stack 2 per side, each gives you 1/2" of lift) and then of course bumpstops. When all is said and done, you come out sitting at 3.5" (21.5" center of hub to fender on all 4 corners) and looking like this (if you install 31s) :

First questions, which springs are you going to go with ?
If Ironman then go with .500, if OME them .375
Clevis not clovis

Sorry about the Clovis issue that would be my auto correct and me not re-reading. I'm going with the ironman lit most likely

Go with .500 like Tom said. Be warned, you'll still have a rake though. Like I said, it's due to the 4" rear springs, not the front.

Throw some weight in the rear. The JBA springs will sag down quickly

And how bad will that take be? Almost close to stock?

Rake is not that bad and springs won't sag quickly

TLDR: rake is like 1/4"-1/2" at the most if you go with OME and a 3/8 clevis. And rear will only sag down about 1/2"-1".

TOM, I have to disagree, plenty of KK and KJ owners have reported that the JBA springs are soft and sag quickly. You also can't deny the fact that they are/nearly stock spring rate and when you go to OME with alot of isolators the weight gets held up and firms out.

Usally they have lost .5"-1" over the course of a year. Mine sagged out real fast, I went from 3.5" with a tool box, to 2.25" with a rear bumper. And the ride was soooo soft. Same with my wifes Ironman front springs. Measured hers today and its down 1.25" from 4.25" to 3".

But of course this is all due to some weird pull of the rotation of the earth closer to the equator and only happens at my place and the people who talk to me. Or maybe we dont know how to read a tape measure........who really knows

Note: this is not a plug in for custom HD springs. Just stating what I have and others have experienced. I also have pisted info on where to get the HD springs on the fourms and I make no money off them.

Speaking of clevis, the spacer JBA gives you is just a measurement device. You can set the clevis space with a socket extension, torque to spec and then pull out the extension. Boom perfect measurement.

I'm just blowing smoke I know nothing never worked on any KJ/KK etc
Carry on!
I talk to a lot of folks as well but ..................
enough I'm done

It'll be fairly close. Still more rake than I like, but I like level stances. Let's talk KK measurements for a moment...

Best way to determine ride height and lift/sag heights is to measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender flare. Stock is roughly 18" in front and 19" in the back (I say roughly because there are slight, within 1/8" or so, differences due to what is considered "in spec" from the factory). Now the old school OME 3.5" (what I used to run before my JBA mix) will sit level and was what I had in the pic I posted. That has a measurement of 21.5" on all 4 corners. Technically that's 3.5" in front and 2.5" in the back.

On to the Tommudd kit. This depends on which kit you choose and spacers. Generally the Ironman version with a 3/8" clevis will sit at about 3.25" of lift in front (21.25" hub-flare). If you run the 1/2" clevis with Ironman you sit at 21.5" of lift. The OME version of the Tommudd kit will sit at 3.5" of lift (21.5") with just a 3/8" clevis, you can't run a 1/2" clevis here because you'll sit too high and have too much contact between the upper control arms and springs.

The rear uses JBA 4" springs. Most will sit at about 22.5" hub-flare or so when new. Some guys have about 1/2"-1" of sag and end up about 21.5"-22". Others lose a little less. This all depends on how you use the KK, and how much weight you have on the rear end (whether it's towing, metal bumpers or always hauling a load in the trunk).

TL:DR version Stock front is 18" center of hub to fender, rear is 19". Tommudd 3.5" will sit at 21.5" and ~22.5". Front won't sag, rear will depending on how heavy your rear end is.
