Ryan do you have the Hypertech max energy tuner? That one does help some, the biggest benefit I noticed is a more optimal shift point from 1-2. |

So if you buy this device..you can seemingly get rid of the "drive by wire" delay? I have a 6 speed so it's not that bad as an auto but does this actually work? What else can this funky black box do, in lamens terms of course? |

It's not tuning anything or making your computer run faster. It's just opening your throttle more at a different rate. For example if using "stock tune" for every inch you depressed the pedal you open your throttle by 10% this will open it by 15-20% each inch meaning you get to wide open throttle faster. I had that spring booster before on my civic I think it's the total waste of money and that little module is costly and I got the same result by pressing gas padal more without it.. |
