Hey everyone. Im about to install a 4" JBA lift on my 2010 KK with the ATH bumper. So here is my question...I really like the look of the late model JK rubicon wheels, what besides the wheel adapters would need to be modified to fit these and the 255/75/17 tires that come on them? Or should I just look for a better wheel and tire combination? I will be regearing as well. Thanks.

Worst part is the spacers, many wheels out there that fit with no spacers/ adapters needed
Then depends on what tires are on the wheels. Some of the stock tires are not worth running to the corner drugstore.
If regearing I would go with 4.56s and that size tires
4 inches of lift is just enough

I'm running the wheels you're describing with spidertrax adapters.

Image.

Though I picked up just the wheels and had 255/75R17 Duratracs put on. I also have 4.56 gearing. If you got a lead foot, you won't like em. I'm turning about 2250 for 65, still have roughly the same range highway, but city took a hit. You said you got a 2010? Good, go get a hypertech programmer. 2010 is the last year Hypertech came out with a programmer for the KK. My 65 GPS is about 58 speedometer. As for trimmimg, the front inside wheel liner will need to be cut and the pinch welds slammed with a BFH. Rear, didn't do anything.

Do you have any pics of what you cut? I'm trying to get a round figure of what I'm in for when I move up to 32s.

Not sure why, but the drivers side needed more trimming. Oh well, no more rub.
