Hi Jeepers, My KK is lifted 4 inches and has 245/75/16 Duratracs. I frequently tow my camper/cargo hauler trailer that I built, and now that I have a few thousand miles on the trailer I'm noticing that there are indentations in the front aluminum skin from stones the Jeep is kicking up. I imagine it will be worse once winter weather arrives, because the front of the trailer will become caked in icy salty slush. ![]() Build thread here: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=858845#p858845 Does anyone who tows with their rig run mud flaps? If so, what kind do you have, and do you like them? I think my lifted KK might look a little weird with mud flaps on it, but better that than damaging my trailer. What do you think? Thanks for the input, Lauren |

It'll definitely help. But I was always taught mudflaps don't work with wheeling. Most people end up tearing them off. So if you do chose to add mudflaps, make sure they're removable. |

I run them on my KJ , took some bigger flat rubber ones and cut them down to the size I wanted |

I pull a small utility trailer and have the OEM flaps. I like them. I don't really wheel though so can't comment on how they are offroad. |
