I just joined this forum.I have a 2008 liberty that has 170,000 miles on it. Just bought it and has no heat. I am going to flush the heater core today hoping that will fix the issue. If not I will have to tackle the dash removal .i hope I don't have to go there. It's not something I like to do ,and at my age I have trouble seeing up close.(bifocals) Blend doors work fine already check them. The kk looks good inside and out.There is no rust anywhere that I can find. I am going to like this little jeep,just need to fix a few small problems. |

Welcome to LOST! I also have an 08 KK and thankfully haven't needed to flush the heater core yet. I'm at 136,000 miles. I hope that it does the trick for you so major surgery will not be required. It's going to be a beautiful day out there (65° and sunny) if you are anywhere in the mid-Atlantic. Hard to believe it's the middle of November!

Thanks for the replies, I did the flush today and made quite a rig ,but seems to have done the trick. I had 156 degree air temp coming out of the vent with the blower on low ,and 150 degree air with high. |

 This is what I came up with to heat the radiator flush with, a turkey fryer and 12 volt pump. |
