I'm new to this site, hello everyone, with it been tax return time again I'm looking at getting a lift put on my jeep the wife has kindly agreed (not that she had a say) to let me spend up to $1000 on a lift only downside is i have no clue what so ever on how to install one so I would have to get a mechanic to help, unless there's anyone from around the Indianapolis area that could assist me or say I can assist them in installing it not sure what to get yet as like I say I'm on a budget and varies on what someone will want to help me

Thanks in advance

Get in touch with Tommudd. He's installed over 30 Liberty lifts in his driveway & shop. He is in the Columbus OH area. That's a 4 hour drive for you if I remember correctly, and you'd need an alignment before you drive it home. But that plan could be doable.

Adding a 3/8 inch clevis to the OME will give you 3.25 inches of lift total in front , right at the edge of needing new UCAs
I would do the lift with 1/2 inch top pate for an even 3 inches of lift ( unless of course you are going to do the JBA UCAs.)
But then Dallas area people already know that LOL

I think I might be swinging more towards the ome springs and listen shocks and might just get the jba uca, this won't be until I get back to Indy in march though so plenty of time to do some research, to be honest I have just over $1000 to spend so I really need to get a shopping list together lol
