Turning the wife's daily into my off-roader, 2008 Liberty w/SkySlider Roof...the roof function is sketchy so it will not be used. I'd like to get a full-length roof rack installed to protect it from branches (as well as hold gear) and my question is, "what would be the best/best type crossbars to fit?" The full length factory rails are thin/shallow, not sure how to accurately describe them - but not ones with a hole/cavity to be be able to loop something through them. Also, as I am looking to ignore the sky slider, been a little tricky trying to find the right combo as I am not sure how different the non-SkySlider roofs/rails are. Any suggestions on crossbars, good value racks, etc. appreciated. |

At the Helm makes racks for the liberty. those black rails on your roof are covers for the stock bolts. You can by side rails and add your own crossbars or a full rack from the start. |

I just got an ATH roof rack so I am selling my current one. If you’re anywhere near Philadelphia you’d be able to pick it up, plus the Mopar side rails. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=89716 |
