| Post subject: | Water in rear passenger door |
Had some consistent rain over the last few days and today I noticed I had water swashing around inside the rear passenger door. I went over a speed bump and heard it, pulled over and started opening and closing the rear door and heard it moving around. Started to look for ways it could get in but the weather seal all looks like its in good shape. Its an 08 with only about 60k miles on it, it also has the sky slider roof. Anyone know how water is getting inside the door and how to fix it? Thanks |

I think they all get rain in the doors. It sounds to me like the drain hole at the bottom of the door has gotten plugged with gunk preventing it from draining. Something like a pencil will briefly unstop it, but for a proper fix, you will need to remove the inside panel and clean out the bottom of the door from inside. Small hands and arms are a plus for this one. |
