| Post subject: | Cleaning Exterior Rubber Trim |
Any tips on cleaning the rubber trim around the windows? (also around the Sky Slider top) Dirt is a pain in the butt to get off the rubber, after a normal car wash it looks like I purposely skipped the rubber trim! I have products to shine/protect the rubber after it's cleaned... Thanks, Nick |

Ive looked at this thread a few times but idk why they are so hard to get clean. Mine usually come clean after washing. If I get wax on them I usually use an APC on an old micro fiber towel. After that I follow it up with good trim detailer... Lately Ive been using Meguiars Hot Tire shine gel. Ive found it lasts much longer than any trim detailer Ive tried. |

Rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth works pretty good. It also removes the extra wax that builds up after a good waxing. |

Rubbing alcohol on rubber? Seems to me that would dry it out. |
