That's a friday, not an easy thing for me to get a day off to wheel mate. If it's the weekend I will have a look tonight and let you know. Perhaps we can get the KJ on fire and I can cash in :lol:

 Post subject: Breather Extensions - I've done them all

I saw that CD was asking about breather extensions. I have extended all six of mine. The front three (Front Diff, Tranny, and Transfer Case) are all now secured to the top of the firewall next to the fuel filter. The rear three are all located up inside of the fuel filler neck near the top. I followed the Wilmo thread on "that other place'" to find them. The transmission and hidden fuel tank breathers are the most difficult to reach. Happy to share the knowledge with anyone looking to do this. I will try to get some pictures (but they will all be After pics as the work is now done). Is this worth a separate thread?

Hey Chris how much of a pain is it to fit the Prado packers I still have a l.i.s.t.!
Hope my road noise is tyre noise.. at least I change my diff oil more frequently than recommended.. not game to look in the drain tin however.

Hey Brian, good to see your still kicking. How you been?
It's not hard to do, if you want we can make a time and do it at my place. I want to add 1 on my front left so we can do both at the same time if you like.

Picked up the KJ this morning, it's tighter than a nun's KJ :oops: No slop in the 1/2 shaft and no noise at all, it's soooooooooooo good to drive it and not hear that bloody sound. I only got it up to 60k's so we shall see what happens after hwy speed over the weekend.

I will post up the replaced parts late.
