I take it you were playing in the loo in order to get rid of the poo that you got out of the bolts. Doesn't stop me thinking that you have some weird habits - does Cath know about them?

I'm back.....Mechanic has taken off transmission skid off, bent a hollow around in it , to fit under and around the exhaust pipe (looks rather artistic really). Rough vibriation through the body of the car & rattle under body seems to have gone. Mechanic has now invited Team J.a.G to Morten Island (with a group of none Jeeps.......hi-lux with 6ft lift :roll:

, A cop & his Range Rover + others) next month for a week-end Island exploration..Sounds good to me

Well there was an almighty CARACK!!! coming from your KJ when you nailed that moster hill climb at Coffs. The noise was recieved by the crowd by a oooooohhhhhh. I thought you had done a CV but obviously not.

Yeah...Yumpet said there was a big "noise" I was just hoping it was skid plate bashing :oops:

Noise is better since tightening swaybar bolts, but, stillgot a Loose feeling and cluck in there.See if I can get down to Jeep early this week..

i had a clunking noise in mine the other week sounded like it was coming from under the drivers seat in the end i found the upper ball joint passenger side R.S. replaced it with Al's A-arms. All good now

Yeah, was thinking upper ball joints, but had a play with them over the weekend, and could see any movement there, but, you never know???/.

How much did the arms cost you to get???? if you don't mind me asking??

All up about $650 a pair. Jeep in Ballarat quoted me $500 each.And you get greasable ball joints

$650 for 2 JBA upper control arms, did that include freight to your door?

No, not really. The gap between the ball joint and tyre is about 10mm and on full lock i get rubbing on both sides of the a-arms.Oh and they are Gen 4.I'll send them an email about my problem, and see what they say.
