2 more sleep's can't wait to get out of here for the weekend
any idea on eta for freshwater, we should be there about 9.30 - 10

Yeah I'd put us there around then.

Cath and I are taking the fishing rods too, maybe a spot of fishing saturday evening , sunday morning..

I've got the surf rod's already packed and was even thinking of trying out some soft plastic's
hopefully a flathead or 2 might come our way while indulging in a refreshing ale

yeah, I've got some of them someplace?????????? Alway Bait available at the sheel just before we sross over, so might pick some up there.

I cant wait to get out for the day again, sick of renovating the house I can tell you. Should be painting again this weekend, but, Hey, a little R&R will refresh so I can do even more next week...

Invites are still there for more people, and If you can't make it saturday, we will still be there Sunday so let us know..

could you drive all the way up to DI at the moment.....I'm thinking that with this Cyclone swell, the surf on the point could be worth a look this weekend

I was leading, but, I said to Hutch, "How about you go down first, because you have the good camera and you can get good pics of us all coming down onto the beach" . This is a oneway track down to the beach, with a little water at the bottom, but, its normally alway hard there, Little did we know, that some idiot hero imbosiles had just before we came down, had stuffed around trying to go up the track, all they succeeded in doing was dig deep holes right in the bottom of the creek, which just filled with quicksand. So when Hutch came down car just sank to the bottom.

There was some guys camping there and they came and gave us a hand, as well, a passing 4x4 gave Hutch a snatch out. We all then just veared to the left a little when we came down so we were on the hard sand.

Just another case of idiots doing the wrong thing, theres a BIG sign there that says NO entry, ONE WAY ONLY> and its a bloody steep track down, but these no hopers go and stuff everything up, and chew out the track, causing more errosion and damage, then, they'll be the first to complain when the track gets closed because of their idiot actions. If I had seen them doing it, I would have taken the photos and been reporting them to the right people. As well as giving them a big serve for being idiots.

So anyway, if I had gone down first it would have been me stuck in the quicksand not Hutch.

Rest of the Track was fun, except that bit where I forgot to put it in Parttime, not Fulltime and starrted bogging down going up thet hill........Who would have thought that possible... :wink:
