L.O.S.T KJ Downunder - Decal's??

With Vinyl stickers, the more colours, the higher the cost as you need to cut each colour then peel them out and then put it together again with all the different colours.

You pretty much won't see black ones on windows.

EDIT: Printed on clear stickers is the way to go for multi colours

Not a fan of the Green & Gold it's too sporty for me & this is a Jeep afterall. However others may prefer that look. I'd say silver would be up there in cost. I still like black print on white stock, we could do two versions. My mate is proving hard to get a revision from, hope to get something soon.

Ed, the SJC (current decal) is 3 col on white & looks prity good (it's screen printed).

plain old white personally... best contrast against the windows, especially if tinted

Hey guys, finally got a chance to check this thread out - lots of good suggestions so far! I threw this together this morning (yes, it was after midnight so technically 'morning'), let me know what you think:

Figured I'd do it white-on-black so you can judge what it would look like on a window.

Could always go an olive green and sandy colour to keep it kind of military and utilitarian...

I like the LOST font you used, not to keen on the rest as I agree it looks too much like a face + no KJ on it.

What esle do you have in mind Corwyyn? THere is talk of colour perhaps you could have a go at that. I like the little KJ driving on two other decals I've seen on other culb threads, perhaps one of then could be driving over Aust (just a thought).

Just change the mountain to a map of Aust, or simply add the word Dowunder in a smart way + it keeps all the fonts in line without causing problems with the LOSTKJS logos/name. What do you think :?:

i really like the LOST florida sticker.. the idea is simple & captures the theme.
maybe an idea to work from... change the palm to the southern cross... down right to down under... florida to australia...
i think it would look good, simple, kind of classy without being too gimmicky

Yes, I agree. I like it, I'm not game to ask my mate to start over as he's a little over it. Can anyone else have a go at it.

Yep.. I'll get Cath to have a go at it, shes a Graphic Designer, she did start something a while ago, but, then she was on holidays, so.....

Fonts not quite the same since I don't have that one in my collection (and can't see spending $40 + to add it). I'm sure if you ask pixeldzn he can come up with something similar for you (and I apologize if this infringes on his other designs). Can anyone think of any more detail they might want, a small aboriginal-style lizard or something similar in the circular border area?

yeah... that's the kind of thing i was thinking, easy to apply as vinyl decal too
i'd stick that on my rear!... the jeep that is...

can the southern cross be moved a little to the right into the border, similar to palm leaf?
it might look kak... only a suggestion, it would fill up the space & keep it simpler

Looks great, here's the good old frill neck lizard.

You could have it sitting on the type next to KJ (or not), may not need a boarder if you do that.

I'm just wondering if we whould be going back to LOST KJ Downunder rather than Australia, my thought's are only due to the fact that the OZ section of LOST is Downunder. Or perhaps do tow versions (same art) but different txt.
