the orac or a copy - works great on my trailer, bit bangy on the rough stuff but that more the loose fit of the KJ hitch bar. and not many peopl ehave them so darn hard to steal the trailer :lol:

Got the rubber flares mounted this morning, started by cutting the lip on the mudguards, then drilled and mounted the flares with some nice dome head nuts - looks like a Renegade trailer now

Cut guards...

One side done....

Finito, get her rego'd first thing next week.

Hey Steven,
My Hayman Reese towbar has this little lock bolt system that takes all that tongue rattle out of the hitch.
They've cut a thread into the holder, and there is a bolt with lock nut on that, works brilliantly.
Would be an easy mod to do.

Put the order in for that breathable rubber mat.
They form it up to your size specs, so takes 7-10 days.
Now made in 10mm thickness, so should be even tougher.
I plan on screwing it down, so it doesn't get nicked. :roll:

Hey, just a thought, maybe get some full width rubber mudflaps to hang down from the backs of the guards as well.. Stops all those stones from being thrown at the guy behind you..

Good call, it's now on my to do list.
Funny thing is, must have had them once, because the holes are there in the guards.
Wouldn't a set of LOST mudflaps be nice

I would definitely hang out for a set of those, how cool would they be, I might even be tempted to put a short set back on the KJ.
