Went out to a 4x4 park in Queensland, just out the back of Bribane called "The Springs" in Feb, all I can say is "Crikey..What a hoot". Just a bit more of us Aussies playing around in the KJ. A bit of down hill action.....on "2nd Gear Climb"

Hi cmohr. The pics are amazing. Were there any other KJ's with you that we end? Did you make it up the step hill? |

NO....no other kj's there that day, but, the Jeep did us all proud that weekend. A lot of people doubted the kj would go anywhere, and often talked of how boring the whole trip was going to be, seeing "they" would only be able to go on the easy tracks because I was along with the KJ. BUT, when the KJ started going up things they couldn't, and, made it look easy by the way, everybody changed there tune. Impressed a lot of folks that weekend and changed a lot of peoples perception of the KJ. And sadly  No I didn't make it up the hill, but, having said that only 9 cars have "EVER" made it up that climb since the track was made, so, I don't feel that bad about it, I got just past half way, it's a 48 deg climb angle, and loose as all get out, Reversing down....OMG, not fun

No wonder you did'nt make it up the hill,you were driving in the dirt!Next time get over in that grass and I bet you'll make it up.  Good looking KJ mate,and beautiful country down there.Keep up the good work and send us lots of photos.

Haha...Yes the GRASS, Photo doesn't really give you an real idea of the hill, and the areas off the track had a "good" side slope on em. But, I may try that next time Ron. Here's a side shot that lets you get a better idea of the hill. And in this shot I'm not actually on the steep bit, look at the pic just infront of the kj and you'll see it slopes up again.
