Post subject:  Cooper Pale Ale, top beer
Not much going on downunder hey, so I thought I would tell everyone that I've now tried the above beer & plan to move it to the top of my beer tree. Taste is great, cost was OK & it went down very well with Indian (Butter Chicken) last night. i do however still perfer a good red (you know $15 to $20 bucks a bottle, no need to spend anymore than that) over a beer but seem to be buying more beer atm, not sure why. It's more refreshing to sit down to a beer than a red after work but nicer to have a red over a meal than a beer. :wink: IMO

GREEN!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Yep the Pale Ale is the BEST BEER EVER..... Only one I drink these days. Been on It for aboot two yrs now, and can't stomach anything else really.

It was great when I was down in SA last year to get it freah off the tap, Loverly. Only problem was with travelling I don't like to carry stubbies, that whole smashed glass through the fridge thing is a bit of a turnoff, so was unable to travel and drink the GREEN, was very dissappointed.....UNTILL......I discovered Dr Tims, yes....Coopers in a can, tastes great, just about the closest thing to Pale Ale you can get in a can. I was beside myself, found it at Roxby Downs, even brought 2 slabs with me back to Brissy.

Anyone coming up from down there want to bring me a present???? :o

SA, wow. I didn't read the label but will when I get home tonight, I still have one long neck in the fridge. The guy at my local let me drink one on the house to see if I liked if proir to buying it (not a long neck just a stubbie). I could be that I was wearing my Raiders top & he felt sorry for me, or just the fact that he's a nice guy :lol:

Post subject:  Wisemans Ferry
I went with the fam to Wisemans Ferry today, the plan was to do a D run out to St Albans & beyond. Have a beer at the old pub & drive an old D trail. That was canned as the ferry was closed, anyway we had lunch at the pub at Wisemans & it had Cooper Pale on tap :D So the wife & I had a beer & the kids played then we went home.

It's a pub to remember.

Yes yes, I myself was enjoying a few "greens" sitting overlooking the beach at Caloundra Yesterday arvo.
